Pain. A mixture of feelings all brought to one simple word.
When it comes to healing, it isn’t easy. It takes days, weeks, months and even years to heal a heart that’s been let down, neglected, and torn. Although, when you come to a realization; an eye opening experience; a sign from God that it’s time to let go…You simply just have to let go.
There’s no doubt that pain hurts. But what we gain from pain is the true reason why we experience it in the first place. A small cut, a skinned knee, a headache…they all hurt. But it teaches us the lesson of being careful. We have to treat and guard our hearts the same way as if it were outside our bodies. We cannot forget that our heart and our mind is the reason we are living and breathing.
Often times, our hearts leads us to do things that we are not obligated to do yet on the other hand our mind leads us to do what is reasonable. Taking advice from which is difficult. That’s when we find it deep within ourselves to find the answer we are searching for. It’s up to us to find the answer.
Healing is a process in which takes time. We cannot rush the process, we cannot cheat it, we cannot lose hope. The only thing that brings our hearts together is patience and faith that everything will not only fall back into place, but fall back for what is better.
